United Hebrew Institute's Kindergarten Graduates

Graduation exercises for UHI’s kindergarten class took place on June 7 in the Max Roth Auditorium. Rabbi Nemetsky, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed family and friends to this sweet occasion. The kindergartners (from various locals including the Back Mountain, Kingston, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton) presented a play entitled "The Two Brothers" and sang songs they learned during the year. Geveret Pernikoff and Mrs. Baylor, Judaic and Secular teachers respectively, coordinated the program and Sandy Himelstein was the pianist. Diplomas were presented by Principal Nemetsky with special awards presented by Geveret Pernikoffand Mrs. Baylor. A reception was held in their classroom immediately following the festivities.
